vivo has started pre-sales for the upcoming vivo X300 E ahead of its official launch on 27th July. The smartphone will feature an imaging system co-developed with ZEISS and is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
The vivo X300 E features a different rear design compared to the recently launched vivo X300 FE, while retaining a triple rear camera setup and metal frame. The smartphone will be available in Black, White, and Orange color options.
New Design With ZEISS Imaging
The vivo X300 E features a triple rear camera setup developed in collaboration with ZEISS. Official images reveal a redesigned camera module compared to the X300 FE, along with a metal frame for a more premium build.
While vivo has yet to reveal the complete camera specifications, leaks suggest the smartphone could feature a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera.
The phone carries the model number V2612A and recently received its network access licence for telecommunications equipment.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Expected
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the vivo X300 E is expected to be powered by the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC paired with the Adreno 829 GPU.
The smartphone is rumored to offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It is expected to run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
1.5K AMOLED Display & Large Battery
The vivo X300 E is rumored to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, up to 4,320 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness.
The smartphone could pack a 7,015 mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging while maintaining a relatively slim 7.99 mm profile.
Other expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance.
